Mount Baker Neighborhood Center for the Arts is calling for artists to submit for the upcoming exhibition:

For the Love of Our Earth

A Glimpse at Beauty and Destruction Through Our Relationship with the Earth

This exhibition explores how we are shaping the future of our planet. Our choices to preserve or abuse earth’s resources are reflected in the beauty and destruction of the soil, water and air, and in all forms of life.

Mount Baker Neighborhood Center for the Arts is a unique South Seattle art center that focuses on creating high-quality art experiences for all and showcasing artists with disabilities and from underserved populations of Seattle.


Artists of all levels (emerging or established) are welcome to apply. All media will be considered (2d and 3d art including: jewelry, sculpture, paper mache, etc.), with a preference of work created from recycled objects. Photography is also encouraged.

Send all submission to by February 1, 2016

Please include:

  1. Three images of artwork to be considered
  2. Description of work: subject, method and materials used.
  3. Application Fee: $15

    • Call to pay with credit card.

Selection Process & Sales

Juried show by local artists and art professionals.
Commission between gallery and artist is 50/50 of final selling price.


Deadline for submissions: February 1, 2016
Notice of Acceptance: Feb 3
Artwork Drop-off: By Feb 9

Exhibition Opening Reception: Feb 12, 4:30pm-7:30pm and Feb 14, 3:00pm-6:00pm
